One person was killed in two vehicle crash in Marion Monday night. The Linn County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 6:45 p.m. on Highway 100 at South 31st Street.
According to investigators, a car was heading south on South 31st Street and failed to yield. It was struck by a pickup truck that was eastbound on Highway 100.
The driver of the car died at the hospital. The victim’s name has not been released yet. The sheriff's office says the driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
The crash is still under investigation.
