Project on schedule for PCI expansion

The Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s (PCI) Medical Pavilion II project is on schedule to open their medical building in late 2019.

“Even with this summer’s wet weather, our crews were able to stay on schedule and keep the building plans moving forward,” said Michael Sundall, Chief Executive Officer at PCI. “Our second parking structure is very close to completion and will be ready to open this December, adding hundreds of new covered parking spaces for our staff and patients."

Medical Pavilion II will be the future home of PCI Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, Vascular Surgery and complementary tenants.

Both PCI pavillions will also offer diagnostic laboratory and imaging services once the project is completed.

PCI says internal work in the building is set to begin in the summer of 2019 along with a planned skywalk spanning 2nd Avenue SE.

Medical Pavilion II is set to open its doors to patients in December 2019.
