CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A Missouri woman is recovering in the hospital after a crash in Linn County Thursday afternoon.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office says Elizabeth Eddings, 63, of Versailles, Missouri was attempting to stop her motorcycle at the stop sign at Ferry Lane and Blairs Ferry Road NE when the motorcycle went down, throwing Eddings off. The accident happened just after 2 p.m.
Deputies say Eddings, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to St. Lukes hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
