Linn Co. Inmate Walks Away from Hospital

An inmate of the Linn County Jail is on the loose after he walked away from a hospital while waiting for Linn County deputies to pick him up, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities on July 12 had taken Jeffrey Blozvich to the hospital for medical treatment. They said the hospital was supposed to notify the sheriff's office before releasing Blozvich, so deputies could transport him back the the jail. Blozvich was being held on an aggravated theft warrant.

Deputies said he is 6 feet tall, weighs 175 pounds, and was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue hospital pants.
