Motorcyclist Injured in Cycle-Deer Crash

A Center Point man went to the hospital with what authorities said are non-life threatening injuries after colliding with a deer while riding his motorcycle.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office said it happened around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 on Center Point Road and Hagerman Road, about 3 miles north of Toddville.

Deputies said 48-year-old Michael Sadler II was riding his motorcycle north on Center Point Road when he struck and killed a deer at Hagerman Road. No other vehicles or persons were involved in the crash.

Emergency crews took Sadler to a hospital. Deputies said Sadler was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
