Cedar Rapids Police say the motorcyclist involved in Thursday's crash died Sunday afternoon.
Police say the Johnson County Medical Examiner's Office reported to them that 20-year-old Dawson Reed Brown died Sunday afternoon.
Police say the 20-year-old driver of the motorcycle has life-threatening injuries and was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
The 19-year-old driving the SUV didn't require medical transport.
Authorities say preliminary information suggests the motorcyclist was northbound on Edgewood Road and collided with the Suburban SUV that was going southbound on Edgewood Road attempting to turn left onto O Avenue NW.
