Two downtown businesses say they will be closing to make way for a new Skogman Realty office.
Sub City and Albert Auto Service will be closing their downtown locations near the corner of First Avenue and 5th Street Southeast.
Sub City will close by the end of this week and won't re-open.
Albert Auto Service will close by February 16 after 10 years at this location. The shop needed to be out by March 1. It is not looking for a new location, but it hopes customers from downtown will go to the business's J Street location.
Skogman's current building is on the same block as Sub City.
