The Cedar Rapids Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1420 L Street SW on December 6 at 7:45 p.m.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire and there was minor damage to the ceiling on the second floor.
No medical treatment was needed although 5 people were at the house when the fire happened.
The Cedar Rapids Fire Department was assisted by the American Red Cross and Cedar Rapids Police.
The fire is still under investigation.
